Menolly the Bard v.1

I'd never played a bard before, and had I known about the Factotum class they introduced before D&D4 came out, I'd have had her be that instead. I tended to do in-depth characters with odd origins that usually crossed about two OTHER 3rd party publisher splatbooks as well. This one was also pretty frankensteined together.

The torso, legs, pouches, instrument, sword, strap, and background were from all manner of places. This first version of her, I used Patricia Tallman, but I felt the pose was a bit stiff and severe. And not quite glamourous enough for someone with a Charisma that ended up OVER 18.

Nowadays I'm a bit embarassed about poor Menolly. What I must have put my GM through. (I MISS YOU, CHAD!) She really turned into kind of a Mary Sue. But she was still fun! And she was actually pretty effective for a bard!
