At DragonCon 2011, Aycelcus and I loped our happy butts over to the Sheraton in summer downtown Atlanta heat. Why would we do such a foolish thing? Cos they had all this really nice railing and ferns and things to shoot in our steampunky finery.
Aycelcus here in her Agatha outfit from the Phil Foglio Comic, 'Girl Genius' has lost 14 dress sizes over the last year since she made it. She's had to take it in a couple of times. Last year she wore a corset to get it closed. This year, it's kinda swimming around her.
After this year, large parts of it will be retired and sold on e-bay in favor of the newer outfit Agatha's sporting in Castle Heterodyne.
The gun is a super-soaker I chanced to find at our local thrift store for 5 bucks. It also came with a pack, but I didn't have enough paint to do that up THIS year. I did the gun up a mere day before we left for Atlanta.
